Yacht Sail Repairs

Our yacht sail repair service operates on a weekly basis, with a fast turnaround to keep you on the water. Based at our loft in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, we offer a friendly, competitively priced service to yacht owners and marinas across the surrounding area. Whether your sail has a small nick from a spreader or needs a full panel replacement, we have the experience and equipment to get the job done properly.

Sail Repair Services

We carry out repairs on yacht sails of all sizes and types. Our large long arm sewing machine gives us the capacity to work on everything from small day boat sails through to large offshore mainsails and genoas. Along with general overhauling, our repair services include:

  • UV strip repair and renewal
  • Large panel replacement down to small rips and nicks
  • Batten pocket replacement
  • Leech line replacement and adjustment
  • Large hydraulically pressed eyelets down to small cringles
  • Reef points installed or replaced
  • Sails cut down to suit different rigs or reduced sail area
  • Window renewal and replacement
  • And anything else the wind can throw at your sails

We enjoy the problem-solving side of our trade. If your sail has an unusual issue or needs a creative solution, we are happy to take a look and offer advice drawn from our many years of experience.

Why Choose Sail Register for Yacht Sail Repairs?

All of our repair work is carried out in-house at our workshop in Market Rasen. We do not send work out to third parties, which means we can control the quality and keep turnaround times short. Our investment in a large long arm sewing machine gives us the ability to repair, maintain and renew sails of virtually any size and weight, so there is very little we cannot handle.

We understand that time away from the water is time wasted. That is why we run our repair service on a weekly cycle and always aim to return your sails as quickly as possible. For smaller jobs, we can often offer a same-day or while-you-wait service by prior arrangement, with a cup of tea included while you wait.
